...t's a waste of time since the client interview is done post joining the company. Any escalation from the client can put your salary on hold. You might have to relocate from the originally agreed work location to the client place. Emergency leave can get you fired, they are not very understanding about such situations. Also no maternity leaves here.

While holding it for one month may be understandable, a three-month delay feels excessively long
