Notice period is kept 3 months mandatory and if someone wants to leave NBC early for that they have to pay GROSS + 18% GST like they are buying their freedom !!! GREAT PLACE TO WORK is just a myth in case of NBC Vadodara

The only good thing about NBC is job security. The rest is terrible from compensation to company culture to learning and growth. Getting into NBC is also easy you just have to act dumb, this will guarantee your selection.

Dislikes

If you desire growth in your life then forget it. There is no growth in terms of compensation as well as position. They have established a communist culture in the company where some oldies are ruling their way. They don't care about their employees, no facilities for them, like food, transportation or anything you name. They run the company like in 80's where you just come for production. The surrounding people are also of low IQ. No ideas are discussed just follow your duties. So my only advice is don't just come here by its big name on the wall.

Company is not providing good increment to their older people rather than focusing to hire outsider on high package who has same year of experience. Moreover, company is not focusing on their employees to given high post.

There is nothing to like about NBC. If you're from a prestigous college you will find yourself out of place. No time management. You will feel like a labourer.

Dislikes

...with few NITs with very low package and expect you to work for 9 hours everyday. Some deparents have 5 days a week and some has 6 days a week but you'll get the same salary..irrespective of your working hours.
