Salary Expectations
I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?

Dislikes

...e seniors do not care about their employees. There is nothing new to learn here. They will make you work for 24hours at some days without extra compensation. I have been working for 5 months and still dont have an identity card because my manager seems to be too lazy. They will blame you not matter what the reason is if their pockets take a hit.
