The IHC campus is a big incentive to enjoy free time. The work culture depends on the team leader.

Dislikes

Too much politics. There is less work and more internal conflicts. The quality of work is degrading day by day. No leadership from persons at responsible positions.

The only better thing about my entire experience is the stipulated hours of work unlike the corporate culture which may extend working hours erratically. But it may also be depending on the team that one is working.

I am sure the NIUA head office in New Delhi is way more structured and better administered. Unfortunately, I am working in project office team and the project has been invariably exceeded its due time, the work is slow and the learning and growth factors are negligible. The organization and administration in the project office (particularly the project office I am involved) is weak and poor. There is hardly any correspondence with the head office. Our appraisals or increment were due last year before the pandemic lockdown, and it did not arrive to us. For an entire year we worked without any appraisal or increment, and finally when we are getting any increment this year, it is bare minimum, without even considering the previous year. The admin and management in my team particularly has been hampered due to lack of involvement of the top layer of the team, and thereby ill effects of it trickled down to work, team coordination, lack of communication, huge delay in the work progress etc.
