It's a satellite hospital of NH. Hence, some talents may be unnoticed. Salary is somewhat at par with other tertiary care hospital. It's location is bit off Kolkata hence daily transit.

The only thing to be liked here is that they do not fire any employee and that creates a very regressive environment as several non performers are sustained in the work culture maingt it hard for those performing to perform well.

Dislikes

1. No leadership 2. Extremely bureaucratic 3. No appraisal done in the 5 years I worked there as the reporting bosses get transferred and changed just before the process starts every year. Also, o clarity on work to be done and changes made to work flow just before appraisals to show that the work has not been done 4. No HR support - when you need manpower you will be told there is no budget as the budget is drained on non-performers 5. Gender disparity - they will say that we have the highest no of women working but in investigating further you would find very few women in decision-making higher management roles 6. HR Policy non clarity 7. Will ask you to develop skills and learn new things but when you actually do they will treat you as if you are taking time off to goof up. 8. Most higher management males are scared of women rising to the top 9. Their Kolkata HR head is a malice on earth as the only thing that she thinks and makes her team think is how to ruin the careers of performing individuals by halting their career growth 10. In the 5 years I was with them I could only get a cumulative increment of 2LPA through the 5 years. Never more than 3% although I performed exceptionally. 6. HR Policy is unclear to most employees and mostly exploitative even after you leave the organization. They would put your F&F and experience certifications on hold for stupid reason for not paying you gratuity and all.

apart from the job security which is also not that stable, there is nothing much to say about

Dislikes

the work environment is bad, everyone wanting to push off work on the other. only a very few people in the system actually works. mostly others are only up to doing politics to actually bring down the other. there is no training on job that can augment the existing skills of the employees. there is no definite growth plan that is shared by the management and to a certain extent the management itself do not have much idea about progress of its own or its subordinates.
