Asking about attempts to those with 2-3 yrs exp , I strongly feel it should be on the basis of skill assessment, interest & experience even for freshers BUT After 3-4 yrs of exp, if you are interested in the attempts of a CA rather than their professional competence, work area & experience then you may sound absurd! I think it's high time organizations should share basic information for hiring at every level... You cannot have a single bill to be filled by all. That shows a lack of preparation from the recruiter's/ org's side. Pls take enough understanding of the aspects you need to look for while hiring professionals. Relevance is the key otherwise you not only end up wasting time (both your's & candidate's) but also ruin the hiring experience & paint a poor picture of the org as a whole.

1. Less learning and more office politics and very traditional internal policies.. Like assignment wise costing etc.. 2. If you put more efforts and show them your capability, then they would take advantage of it.For example If you show that you are Good at internal audit, then you will assigned to those assignments only irrespective of your interest. 3.No employee friendly and basic principles are being ignored like they will ask you commute From Borivali ti Churchgate and at the same time they will ask another person to Travel from Churchgate to Borivali. A rational person would allocate you to the nearest place so that you can save your time and invest that in work. 4. They are 10 out of 10 when it comes to Show off. My simple suggestion to firm is that don't give more hours in webcall meetings. Insteqd of that, Ask your employees to spend 10 minutes everyday to train their juniors. You would be surpirsed to see the results.

Professional approach to work, quality is Paramount. Direct tax and indirect tax departmenta are best. Good work life balance in these department. Lot of learnings, overall growth.

Work life balance in audit department, Extra professional, partners not easily approachable.
