it was good five years before with good culture and environment. Things changed in the last 5 years else MSRIT was one of the best places to work with respect to academics and have satisfied life

Dislikes

Salary cut, promotions given without any basis, salary cut done without any basis but with bias. Lot of documentation, and administrative work is given rather than core competency work hence can reduce the ability to upskill. finally sound leadership matters at all levels which is lacking. A true leader has to manage, protect and defend his team, be unbiased and accept the team as such and can intelligently point if there are any flaws ,which is currently lacking, hence it the problem trickles down to all levels.

Nothing to like at RIT

Dislikes

most of the faculties are from local colleges without any teaching & research skills; principal of the college caught with plagiarism; hods and senior profs expect to include their names in all research papers, project proposals, and consultancy works; senior faculties will not guide students for project works.
