they force you to work on weekends and holidays too Never work for Netflix or PCA I was forced to work from 9 am till late nights and they over burden you with work and you will be burnt out and your health will suffer

...en at many and the leadership here helps me put all my ex bosses in high regard. Just absolutely pathetic place - The company doesn't pay for your travel and stay, you pay from your pocket and then they don't reimburse. Yes, even hotel bills are to be paid by you yourself

The pandemic has hit everyone hard but MSL has not laid off people, nor have we seen pay cuts. Online coordination has increased work hours but that's true everywhere. The company has initiated many programs such as mental health consultation, alternate 4-day work weeks, Corona insurance for families at a nominal cost among other things.

Dislikes

I am a part of the digital team which is an extended arm of the PR agency that MSL is at heart. As such, the core work is digital PR in nature more than advertising.

MSL has been a traumatic experience. The VP of the company is a goon. 0 work life balance. The managers are incompetent. The planning team doesn’t know how to plan. Threats of termination for not working till late in night. I told them once in December that I want to leave on time since it’s Delhi and it gets pitch dark and I feel unsafe. The ASSOCIATE VP and VP told me that if you feel unsafe that’s your personal problem. The HR behaves as if she’s the head mistress. She is biased and unprofessional. She even distributed chocolates for free on the floor to all the employees and made all the employees rate Msl at the great place to work as 10/10 ( which is supposed to be a personal and individual thing ) mostly all Saturdays and Sundays were working. It is considered normal to getting insulted and bashed by the seniors in name of seniority as per the VP. The VP had to told me that she’s married to her work and it’s ideal for her to see everyone doing the same. Making personal comments is a normal thing. Bullying is a daily thing. Guys MSL is pathetic.

I liked the variety of clients I got an opportunity to work with when I was at MSL. They give you an opportunity to work on some of the top brands which is really outstanding for one's career and growth. At MSL, I also had the chance to learn beyond traditional PR.

Dislikes

I don't prefer the 5 day WFO culture. I also think there is a lot of hierarchy which is not good for teams growth.
