Promotions and good increments are hard to come by. Easier to get higher pay if you have competitive offers or just leave the company and return after 1-2 years. Work pressure is high in certain periods.

1) In some teams we have guys who like working 24*7 which sets wrong expectations and unhealthy work life balance and managers are more than happy to have such guys in the team. 2) Some super seniors are so reluctant to share knowledge with new team members due to their insecurity . It needs to be checked by MSCI Management. 3) Cloud migration was failure in MSCI Index and new Indian Management is trying to fix this by firing employees despite no faults of their own.

They pay you extremely well. Very good facilities provided. Working atmosphere in the office is good. Hybrid working encouraged. Many events happening in the firm. MSCI will invest and deploy in latest technology in the market so you work on most advanced technology. Office infrastructure is good and well maintained. Flexible working hours. Leaves are approved and not not questioned.

Promotions happen at manager's will. Long serving employees are not recognized for their contribution to the firm. There is no job security. You can get fired anytime. Firm provides parental health insurance at your own cost. Management is biased. Open door policy and many other policies are on paper. Goals assigned for the year keep changing. What goals you set at the start of year, mostly get sidelined as days pass by but then become a talking point during appraisal discussion.

I was working as a contingent worker and honestly you don't get paid as per their standards so you working as same as analyst level but get paid low also, if team leader is lousy then you might not like to work there most of the time you'll spend just alone and interaction with team will be low.
