... is usually not empowering and still what is decided abroad just gets executed. Cannot grow except in salary .....no job satisfaction. Incompetent people get ahead by brown nosing and saying yes ....a lot of politics in India office .

Flexi working policy/ WFH options. Increments are decent.

Promotions and good increments are hard to come by. Easier to get higher pay if you have competitive offers or just leave the company and return after 1-2 years. Work pressure is high in certain periods.

Dislikes

Hike upto 5% also variable pay is deducted upto 40-50% Favouritism within team your hike depends on relation with your manager and not on delivery Many projects are rebuilt due to no clear requirements on project from stakeholders.

Dislikes

1) In some teams we have guys who like working 24*7 which sets wrong expectations and unhealthy work life balance and managers are more than happy to have such guys in the team. 2) Some super seniors are so reluctant to share knowledge with new team members due to their insecurity . It needs to be checked by MSCI Management. 3) Cloud migration was failure in MSCI Index and new Indian Management is trying to fix this by firing employees despite no faults of their own.
