Everything is great at MongoDB employee perks and benefits and including the salary pay is really good. Even the health insurance benefits are good.

Dislikes

MongoDB’s managers are not good at all. They impose a lot of pressure on you. They lack trust on you for every single thing. They will see you as a culprit. Hence there is no leadership quality. However, they keep talking about leadership. This company is not at all good for working mothers because they do not tolerate any single Mistake in the work. Hence if you’re looking for a peaceful smooth working experience along with family life, please avoid going to this company because it will offer you good money, but you will lose rest other life balances.

I worked for Sales Strategy and Planning team. I found the culture highly micromanaging. It was just a data entry job. But People expected you to know everything about systems, KPIs and data within your 1st month. And then they put me in PIP before even I could complete 3 months in company. I reached out for help to all leaders, HRs and senior folks in my team. Sadly no one bothered to reply me on DM. But they had good enough time to reply on emails and ask for simple pivot on spreadsheet. HR was so busy that she didn't even bother about my exit interview. I asked for exit interview for 4 times. That's the culture they have here. Anyone planning to join this, DO NOT JOIN. Rather work for any other company who remotely appreciates you as a human being. Thank God I am out of this workplace. Luckily I had skills to find a decent job within 2 weeks of they putting me on PIP.

Worked almost 8 years in IT industry with companies like MANG as well, but never had experience of such a great culture, flexibility I really like to contribute to the success of the organization by my skills because it goes both the ways company take care of us (employees) and we take care of company. If you skills there are lot of opportunities to grow in the organization

Senior leadership doesn’t have the skills of being a balance between process manager and people manager. Extreme work load due to no proper man hours calculation or staffing. Senior leadership is Disrespectful and dominating

If I talk about company, Everything was excellent but the management was very poor or I can say there is lot of politics played with employee by Leads Such Gagan Rustagi.
