It's a very big hospital and doing best in providing care to patients suffering from various physical ailments, salary is good, benefits are available. Work life balance is maintained well.

Awareness about mental health and branches of mental health services are poor even among the doctors and staff. Lot of scope of improvement is there but due to lack of awareness and understanding of the necessity to incorporate mental health services in holistic care none of the ideas seem to materialise. Job role of clinical psychologist was not much relevant. More systematic and strategic incorporation of mental health services in oncology and other branches, streamlining of mental health related work, inter-departmental cooperation and exchange of knowledge, marketing and branding to promote mental health service and consultation liaison services are required. Clinical psychologist's role is merely limited to doing bed side counseling of ailing patients and caregivers once in a while, no proper followup is done. Patients get discharged without the knowledge of psychologists while counseling is ongoing. No scope to see psychiatric patients due to lack of a psychiatry ward and lack of referrals from psychiatrist. The duties and responsibilities could easily be done by a psychologist with masters degree. A clinical psychologist is overqualified for the job role. Hence job satisfaction is poor.

Mohandai Oswal Hospital is a 40+ years old Hospital formarly recognised as Cancer Hospital and with time and progress it is been able to transform to a multispeciality Hospital treating almost all types of healrh issues. All staff is really helpful and supposrtive and team work to achieve good health for patient is priority.

Very few holidays and Saturday is working.

hospital director must be a working clinician and should not be a separately paid job as working clinician can do better than a nonclinical mbbs with hospital admin qualification there is poor treatment of doctors at hand of these lower qualified administrators and senor doctors are not well treated so replace these posts with working doctors
