THE SALARY IS AS PER THE NORMS WITHOUT BIG JUMP. THE WORK RESPONSIBLE IS THERE AND THE WORK IS LIKE FIRE FIGHTING. THE CREATIVITY CANNOT BE DONE EVEN THOUGH I POSSES THE CREATIVITY AND INNOVATION ARE MY WORKING HABITS

SBM is wide sector where lots of things have to know such as project preparation, Making Action plan, Conduct IEC Activities, Submission of monthly MIS, Data updation, Setting up treatment plant and so on.

Dislikes

Lack of job security and other benefits like promotions, Appraisal, Medical facility and a overall HR Policy

I got an opportunity to serve for the nation actually. It was more like submitting a thorough detailed project report to the Ministry. I gotta work with fellow civil engineering, architecture, urban disigning students.

It's not like a conventional internship, so there were a few who were not genuinely interested.

Urban planning graduates play a key role in managing and developing the places we live in to make them safer, more sustainable and healthier

Avoid political issues and other non technical skills. Engineers don’t have a better story to tell either. The ennui or disillusionment seems to be a part of their work lives. Even as we are moving from a reactive economy to a predictive one, engineering remains one of the more coveted professions. It now offers degrees that are quite versatile, with enough job roles waiting for you to try. However, many engineers have voted for job dissatisfaction for various reasons, in informal polls

It's being a wonderful and humble experience being setting and administrating entire city ! On times it's being a challenging task to implement most important plans and policies with a sensitivity towards the urban poor and society as a center.

Dislikes

I would rather define it as a gigantic and unpredictable and a fast evolving system where in implementation of town management policies has multifarious external factors which needs to be examination and worth addressing ,so that the expected outcome can be achieved and the living standards of the society and social upliftman of one and all can be ensured.
