Salary Expectations

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?

Nothing to like as they don't pay salaries mentioned in appointment letter.

Dislikes

Owner claims that he is a Doctor. But nobody knows that he is a Doctor at Where? They will hold your salary for 3 months. They actually trap people from outside of Maharashtra. They have only a single branch located at Yavatmal Maharashtra. They have mentioned one Head office in Nagpur. Nobody knows if it really exists. When salary will not be credited then you will approach HR, they will tell you to talk to Owner. And Owner will not pick your call.
