New Job, Higher Pay, Now I’m Feeling Awkward

I’ve been at my new job for about six months now, and everything’s been going great! I’m getting positive feedback from my manager, and I get along well with the team. The thing is, when I started, my salary offer ended up being much higher than the initial number discussed during my interview. I didn’t negotiate and just accepted the offer. The teammates are very helpful, and the company treats its employees well. However, the project itself is not good.

Dislikes

The work is very strict, and you need to book 8 hours in your work ticket with full details. The manager will review your work on a daily basis, which can feel like micromanagement in many cases. The working environment can be pressurized
