The day I found out my colleague earns 30% more for the same role
It was an accidental slip. A teammate mentioned her CTC while we were chatting casually. Same designation, same team, joined after me but her salary was almost 30% more. My stomach dropped. I spent days debating whether to bring it up. I didn’t want to come off as insecure or difficult. But I also couldn’t un-know what I knew. Eventually, I had an honest, data-backed conversation with my manager. Turns out, I was right and they revised my pay. It wasn’t easy, but it taught me this: silence doesn’t protect you. Companies run on numbers. If you don’t negotiate, you leave money on the table. Have you ever been in a similar spot? How did you navigate it?

The work environment is quit average, a lot of things to be improved, only money minded, hiring and firing is common. Not recommended for a long time period of time.

A company that stands parallel with its team members when they need any support, what else an employee needs. Yes, the company has some drawbacks but if we work on it, it is never a drawback anymore, MetroMax believes in working on it and is always ready to take suggestions to grow together. Excellent work-life balance: We get WFH or Lweave when required but yes, end of the day as our delivery matters, it is self-realization to bring the change within and get the work done. Learning is great, if I or my team member need any degradation, management always approves to grow and sponsor the course.

Honestly, Nothing.

...unreasonably high—300 calls and 150 emails per day—reminiscent of a call center. There were no salary increments, and daily stand-up meetings and excessive micromanagement stifled productivity. The disconnect between the Bangalore branch and the US team suggests a lack of oversight. I advise anyone considering a role at MetroMax, particularly in sales, to look elsewhere. It's better to beg on the streets than endure the toxic environment fostered by incompetent management.

Nothing, not even the salary credit message.

... but those two sindhi directors are making a fool of him in terms of everything. Rest of the top management is a bunch of inexperienced people hired on a higher designation for lower salary (than standards). This company does not have a regular process. They only hire casually for a process and then fire the employee when the process ends. They are laundering money in India and US with the help of group companies and affiliated companies. This abysmal company bills a minimum of $15 per hour per employee to US based clients and does not even pay Rs. 150 per hour (<$2) to its employees in India. They are avoiding taxes and other compliances (like PF, PT, ESI) in India and not paying GST on many services they take and give. This company should be reported to tax authorities for all kinds of audit since inception. Then, everything will be unearthed. That farji indian director in USA has opened this company on his father in laws name, just to avoid his name in any wrongdoing and his nephew is the director with 3 years of experience. The company is registered in Gujarat but works from Karnataka and Punjab. The most amazing thing is that former employees like me have opened a rival company and have taken majority of clients that this company had. The most hilarious thing is that they advertise on their website that they have 200 trucks or companies that they dispatched but in reality they never crossed 40 at one go. So now one can imagine the lies that they can tell.
