GF salary Vs. My salary
Me and my gf have been dating for 5 years. Back in 2020, I started my career with a package of ₹5 LPA. Over the years, I’ve reached ₹22 LPA in 2025. She started her journey with ₹3 LPA(2020) and is now earning ₹8 LPA(2025). We’ve been in a live-in relationship for around 2 years, and the idea was to share expenses equally. But, equal sharing never really happened. If we go to a café she likes, especially with friends, I will pay the entire bill. We only split the house rent and grocery bills. I told her lots of time to cut down these costly cafe expenses or earn more money, increase your package, study and work hard, but.....she is now in her comfort zone. Being from a tech background, I have seen people upgrade their skills and package for a good life in metro cities. I am ready to support her in her studies, but she is like I am earning enough for myself.... No, you are not. I love her, but I don't know how to overcome this issue between us. Please suggest!

The company provides a good working environment with a manageable workload and job security.

Dislikes

It is unacceptable that the salary offered is below the market level, and the organization has failed to provide a clear growth path for its employees. The senior employees have been subject to a lack of learning opportunities, and the organization has no retention plan for its top performers or value for its old employees. Furthermore, the top management has made it clear that there is no scope for a team lead or senior management to climb the ladder in the organization, which clearly indicates the company's lack of vision and foresight.

Best is the company's liberal culture. The team managers and leaders approachable and friendly. The working culture is also very flexible and sometimes can be fun to work here.

Worst of all i Believe is the lower than the industry standard pay and the lesser hikes and appraisals. Also, some times the Leadership and Management seem dictatorial and there is a constant shift in the processes and policies following, which can be difficult to adjust.

The only thing I liked about working in Metrixlab were the support staff who served tea and snacks to everyone, even tho I could never eat any of it, other than black tea without sugar, because every snack item they serve felt like old stale food from some nearby Tiffin Shop. Don't eat that stuff, it gave me diarrhea.

Every employee in Metrixlab is there to scam you in some way, first off all their HR is a scam operation, they'll offer you a salary over the phone, then after you've told your family members about the job, you'll see a reduced package in your offer letter, if you ask them, they'll give you different reasons and try to give you gift cards and stuff. Next, the employees there are all try to use you as a stepping stool to further their career, but soon they'll realise the ladder full of snakes, who've been there at the same position for the past 20 years. Thirdly, they have an Associate project manager named Ashish Ubriani, he's one piece of work. If you ever have the misfortune of working with him, he'll make your life a living hell. He has his whole cabal of little boot lickers in that company, who have succumbed their fate to his whims. His sole job is to make his own employees' life harder, by squeezing every last bit of life out of them by overworking them, he'll yell, scream and say the most nastiest stuff to you, even call your phone late at nights to convince you that you're not cut out for the job, unless you listen to his advice. He makes some of his employees work till 4-5 am in the morning , when their day would start at 12.30-1pm. Lastly, don't even question your manager or HR about increment or promotion, it's a taboo word in Metrixlab, if you ask them about it, for the next few months, your manager will send you bad reports against you till your soul dies a little.
