New Job, Higher Pay, Now I’m Feeling Awkward

I’ve been at my new job for about six months now, and everything’s been going great! I’m getting positive feedback from my manager, and I get along well with the team. The thing is, when I started, my salary offer ended up being much higher than the initial number discussed during my interview. I didn’t negotiate and just accepted the offer. So, fast forward to happy hour with the team, and the topic of salary comes up. I, unfortunately, shared what I’m making, and let’s just say... it didn’t sit well with the others who have been on the team for years and make less than me. They weren’t mad at me, but now I’m feeling a bit uncomfortable and unsure how to handle this situation. Has anyone had something like this happen? How did you deal with it? Let’s chat!

They hire fresher or people from other field, you get basic training if shown performance can handle a team on own or even lead in few years.

The salary is 8k for Digital marketing Executive, Strict Timing, no job security, no proper amenities, No management or Hr policy. Refuse to give salary slip or experience letter.

LOW SALARY and the boss doesn't respect the employees. The employees were good, but the most of the left the agency because the many bad reasons.

LOW SALARY. Their were 2 owners, the one which looks after the office, was removed from the office. Because he forced (use to touch their body) many girls in a bad way. From which one of the girl spoken up about what he did. And because of that he was removed from the office. Their is no way to learn for FREASHERS, because most of the seniors from GRAPHICS, CONTENT and SEO has left the agency because of LOW SALARY. The current boss doesn't respect the employees and doesn't gives credit for their good work.

Worst company to work with. The employees are treated as mankey and get peanuts as salary. To summarise I must say don't ruin your precious time for this place. If you are not smart enough you'll be humiliated and molested.

...ust stay in and work with us 1 yr more. Then they will give you the certificate. Also salary scale is too bad. At this year 2020 company starting payment scales are 8k. Its too low. And 2-3 yrs experience person got only 18k to 20k. I had also faced the same problem so i just share the whole facts.

The eviroment is good and very supportive team leaders. They keep 1 day in a month only for training specially on new skills. Job security wise its a great place cause they have been adding peope even in lockdown whereas other agencies were firing or giving salary cuts. So no issue on that front. Anyone who is performing good definately gets rewarded. Though increment is not as much as one would wish for.

Nothing as such. But there are 8-10 people who are there from last 5 years or more and they get the best of projects and money compared new people. So you need to spend coupls of years in company to become part of the senior group.
