Being a contingent worker at Meta. You dont get any benefits of Meta which are there for Full time employees. You are not reviewed by your manager. You are just like a resource which is used to ease up of the work of full time employees In my case I didn't use to get any reply on queries regarding any topic from my employer. Work also depends on the team and the role.

Periodic layoffs leading to uncertain work patterns. New managers running this place like a service industry. Fight for scope among senior engineers leading to hunger games.

- Because it's a big company, work is often pretty siloed - Metrics at all cost, which means other things are de-prioritized like wlb, code quality, testing etc
