Fooling in the name of research analyst. Job role is not at all of a research analyst instead it's tele research analyst. An employee is supposed to get information on call. Poor Mumbai management, where they can't take decisions on their own and have to rely on Chennai team. No job security at all. You will never know when they will throw you out of the company with no good reason. In a year 7-8 employees were removed. Non achievable incentive structure. It's only a lollipop in the name of incentive.

Dislikes

Less salary. Lack of decision making power at Mumbai office. Poor infrastructure in office. Rats in cafeteria. Poor working AC. No motivation at all.

Good Salary package but you end up paying for your metal health.

No Respect Merit treats you like a salve Worst Company to work with No job Security Mental health will be on big toss You will lose your family well being If they don't like you, they will end up putting you in PIP You can see more of dictatorship rule Don't go by Great Place to Work Certifcation

Over all a good company, but many hire and fire happens. No variable pay no job security. You will get onsite for 6 month / 3 months in business visit visa and they get good billing from client and pay you per day allowance with accommodation and think they gave you top opportunity. 3/4 clients all are so good on work culture. Will deploy you to two projects and will say multi tasking is key for performance and hike. If you work hard, you would be recognised for sure.

Job security, Less project, less client, many scrapping projects. Do useless works as you are in bench like scraping etc.

Likes

Skill development and work life balance. Merit has free skill development plan and they have internal job postings too.

Dislikes

Leave policies, merit doesn't have any bonus and doesn't give you any amount if you have plenty of leaves on your hand when you left the company, they tell don't take any leave on serving notice period. No settlement amount for below 5 years worker, Even if you relieving on 4.11 months your are not eligible. Even we didn't paid for Indian holidays supposed if we work.

Likes

Overall the company was well good for both freshers and experienced. Good pay, No night shift, Liberal dress code, Can go with phones inside, you can interact with your CEO too

Dislikes

But the only con is this company has a ratio of more than 50% enployees are women, in such a case if your a guy where youve been put into a team only had women its a complete chaos for you
