PEOPLE WILL ALWAYS BE PEOPLE, SO WE DEFINITELY CAN'T HAVE IT PERFECT AS WE WISH WITH HUMANS, THE TRAINING IS RIGOROUS THOUGH BUT WORTH IT, IF YOU ARE NOT DILLIGENT THEN YOUR JOB IS SECONDS ON THE LINE, THE SALARY IS BEFITTING TO BE HONEST, I COULD BE CALLED UPON TO TRAVEL AT ANY TIME TO OTHER MERCEDES COMPANY CENTRES TO CHECK UP ON SOME DIFFICULT ACTIVITIES BASED ON THE STATUS OF WHERE I WORK WITH MERCEDES, ATLANTA, GEORGIA. POLITICS ALWAYS PREVAILS, BUT AT MERCEDES GIVE THEM THE BEST AND YOU ARE SURE TREATED WITH PREFERRENCE WE HAVE PLENTY OF ROOM TO BE INNOVATIVE, IT'S DEMANDING TO WORK WITH MERCEDES I MUST SAY BUT FOR THE WORK-LIFE BALANCE I BELIEVE WE ARE GETTING THERE.

1) Low salary to the technical folks @ IT division 2) Hikes and Promotions are given to manager favorites, mostly to non technical folks who does coordination and catch/dispatch type of work. 3) People skilled with latest tech wont get chance to apply their skill sets and their skills just would sit in the form of certificates. The technical folks wouldn't be able to showcase any technical capabilities fully which was supposed to be gained out of experience working @ MBRDI, while they want to give interviews for a job change. either they have to upskill and just portray as if they have worked on the those technologies with their experience working @ MBRDI OR join as a fresher. This is the reality. 4) Managers make themselves sufficient time to improve upon their office politics skills. most of them are certified for the same. sense-less management. 5) The latest iphones COD, mercedes company cars, fuel allowance, phone bills etc are paid for level 5 and above management folks. The HRs didn't bother to cut down these expenses during pandemic situation, instead they decided not to roll out hikes for most of the technical folks citing pandemic situation as the reason. 6) Managers encourage unnecessary travel to their favorite employees (catch and dispatch guys) so that they can fill their pockets with per-diems. In most of the cases travel wouldn't be necessary, but still it is approved without any proper justification.

Food at MBRDI is good and quality is maintained well.

Dislikes

Salary is decent but career growth is very slow. No value to years of experience. Work culture is not so good, it's more of discouraging and zero value for individual perspective. Employees learning growth is very restricted and work is more tedious and continues repetitive. Do not expect any appreciations, it's more of complaints booth.

Being in Mercedes benz feels like working with a brand is always good you will see lot of good cars around you. Work like balance is amazing. Its a company one can retire with. Lot of lead opportunity you will get and to take responsibility for a product. Travelling to Germany if you are lucky.

Nobody is responsible for nothing. Company works like a trust. Everyone in this company just want to keep running rather than growing.

No promotion. Very low salary profile. 2% every year increment in salary. No practical approach from management only philosophy. Senior people already safe there position. No motivation everyone in this company frustrated
