Nothing, joining means reuining your carrier and CV, no training, no support from anybody, poor goodwill among sellers, Loss of pay (LOP) is common. It's a third party payroll.

Only a risk that is probably associated with every startup. A risk where, your role may not fit sometime in larger scheme of things. However, this is a risk that everyone sign up for on the same day when you sign up the appointment letter or decide to join this ecosystem. I myself lost my role due to this but no regrets 😊. time at Meesho was disheartening as the company seemed to be plagued by issue of favouritism and politics, layoff, which heavily influenced performance evolution and stunted carrier growth opportunities. Rather than basing promotions on objective criteria like skill and knowledge, personal relationships were prioritised, leading to demotivation, low morale and high employee turnover. In my experience, layoffs at Meesho are particularly difficult, especially when it seemed like most talented engineers were being let go while those with personal relationship with directors were being retained. It was clear that layoffs were not based of objective criteria such as job performance and business needs. In May 2023, Vidit Aatrey suddenly called 15% layoff resulting in the termination of 251 engineers in one day and with the callous decision to make it their last working days. And other 15% approx. get layoff in yearly appraisal rating and asked to leave. if you value transparency, fairness, professional growth and job security, I suggest explore other opportunities outside of Meesho.
