... PSU company under Defence Ministry. Mainly Destroyers and Submarines are built. Good salary &perks. You have a freedom to take decisions and prove yourself. Directors are mostly from Navy. Work is challenging . Since the construction is under collaboration and most of equipments from abroad, you may get chance to go abroad for training or inspection, exhibition etc. The work of each department is clear and it is upto you to utilise the opportunity. With private Shipbuilders on the fray, you have a chance to get good offers. The company will be shortly listed by public offering as per Government s plan

Now comming to things that I like about my company. Culture: My company has nice work culture and allows employees to work freely, also there is good support from seniors and employees are motivated and appreciated for their efforts. Policies: Lot of employee friendly policies and initiatives from HR department.

1.Unfair pay for Jr. Qc inspector trade. 2.No job security for on contract employees

Stopped to do permanent to contract worker. There is a lot of politics and the management doesn't address our issues. Career growth is slow.
