Management is employee friendly. But, higher officials in the company are not so professional. Instead, they are always engaged in appeasing management officials. Loyal to the management is different, and act of appeasement is different. As a result the quality of the product moving towards downside, which reflects in the market.

Dislikes

..., circulation of the paper is decreasing day by day, which affects it's revenue. Salary is not good, and annual increment is as less as 300-500 inr for permanent employees.

Pay scale is very low. No skilled managers. No scope for personality development. I won't recommend anyone to work there, where a horse will become a donkey.

No scope for learning. Not a preferred place if you are ambitious.

Teammates are friendly and supportive. Best place to learn something of Kannada print media and also the online media. MMNL's newspaper (completed 50 years) and sister magazines are most popular. Team outings were provided (when there was no Covid-19 pandemic). Precautionary measures were taken to prevent the spreading of corona virus

Dislikes

As concerned to local news editions there, Sub editor becomes page designer many of the time. Means, one will be fully busy with page designing in order to meet the deadlines. Only special pages will be designed by designers. Editing is a must but there is something that hinders that role as concerned to freshers or juniors there.
