New Job, Higher Pay, Now I’m Feeling Awkward

I’ve been at my new job for about six months now, and everything’s been going great! I’m getting positive feedback from my manager, and I get along well with the team. The thing is, when I started, my salary offer ended up being much higher than the initial number discussed during my interview. I didn’t negotiate and just accepted the offer. So, fast forward to happy hour with the team, and the topic of salary comes up. I, unfortunately, shared what I’m making, and let’s just say... it didn’t sit well with the others who have been on the team for years and make less than me. They weren’t mad at me, but now I’m feeling a bit uncomfortable and unsure how to handle this situation. Has anyone had something like this happen? How did you deal with it? Let’s chat!

...ur thoughts,ideas from small level to top heads they are encouraging us maximum.In this pandemic situation, company provided maximum support to all staffs by right time salary, covid precaution equipments to shops and other establishment, covid testing etc. Company ready to serve the requirements of staffs because company point of view our health is first important. Daily sanitizing all shops, handling ornaments with proper by way of using hand gloves,customer temperature checking etc.From this group we can learn everything and if we do our duty on best level company will give you better prospects like promotion and so on. I think this is the only one copmany were staffs promoted to management level, showroom heads,assistant heads and also providing the opportunity for investment in our company .For refreshing staff mind company conducting annual tour , games and festival programs etc. We are celebrating each moment we spending their.

- salary is very low - hike is really bad - don’t trust a word talent acquisition team saying - probation is for a year - 6 day for working - HR make people write apology letters for wearing round neck tshirt to office. - Fine for wasting food - HR warning for loose dress, tight dress, leggings, jeans etc - Culturally still in 90s

-ASH is like a supervisor. You need to take care of the smooth working of the store. -Pressure is very less in compared to other retail industries or jewellery stores. -A good working atmosphere. -Zero ego superiors.
