...basis of my qualification without giving a penny or compromising on other terms. Pay and salary as per UGC pre revised scale. Work timing is 9 am to 5 pm with 1 CL every month. Duty leave and medical leave is there. Administration and all staff very cooperative and helpful. Honble Chancellor and Vice Chancellor both are very enthusiastic and encouraging.

It's a very good environment to work, with a group of excellent teachers and staffs. Our department uses newly developed instruments and to work on that instruments is a very good experience and it increase our skills and knowledge.

Dislikes

Remuneration should increase for these kind of jobs. Also, should get our salary on time. There is a delay for getting salary for temporary workers.

I do not like anything about Mahatma Gandhi University

First of all, The company is fake, they say that they will hire us under Mahatma Gandhi University but reality is they hire under they society i.e. Care Educational and welfare Society. In 10 days i have seen that there is no system or rules being followed for their work. They just pretend they are working as if they have lots of work but people sit idle for 7 hours and get salary for not doing anything. Specially as a accoutant, there accounts are not managed and recorded since 2013 proplerly and they just put their personal expenses under companies expense. Every accountant has left thr job in just 2 months. Everything is pathetic. The front head HR does not have any manners to speak to anyone and talks like an uneducated employee to everyone. Half of the time the HR is busy networking in social media sites like facebook and chatting. They do not even have manners to speak to the Children who come there to take admissions for courses offered by them. The HR is the one who speaks politely and solves employees problem, but here HR head creates problem and speaks impolitely to new employees.

This is a University where opportunities are found in plenty for a qualified person.I had opportunities to attend national and international seminars across the country.Due to personal commitments at home,I was not able to make much use of these opportunities.We have a very active theater department and our students are a creative lot,coming up with plays,documentaries every year.Some of our faculty members and students have won national and state awards for their work.My colleagues were friendly,respectful and helpful and I had a good rapport with my students.I had a calm and quite work environment,away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

Dislikes

As my institution is funded by the government and UGC,there are inappropriate delay for the orders to come into function.Hence my UGC ordered remuneration package encounters delay in getting sanctioned .Student politics often disrupt classes.Political influence is often sought by many to get things done in time.There is an interminable delay in the appointment of faculty and staff,so that there are incidents where members seek the help of the judiciary.
