It was surreal experience with Lodha & Co, i have learnt new skills like statutory audit & Internal audit of listed entities .

Dislikes

...orking environment Long working hours No bonus Conveyance not recieved on time Old School rules still exists like salary given through cheque Small offices No Cold water in office during summer No tea offer in office HR is very rude Reporting through phone calls During notice period no salary is given No printouts allows in office. No leaves allowed during peak period. Have to work on sundays and public holidays and Incentive of Rs. 50 only given.

highly unprofessional firm in terms of human resource.. they'll forfeit your salary in the name employment bond and will deal with you like you've theft anything from them

You will get to learn a lot for first 2 years. Appraisal are ok. People are good except top management. Work environment is ok. To some extent there is work life balance.

Dislikes

...u start growing in organisation. It is very difficult to leave the organisation. They will not give you salary for last 1 or 2 months and other employee benefits like gratuity (even you are eligible for the same) when you are leaving even after serving proper notice period.

You will get very good exposure because of the client base of the firm.

Lodha & Co. Kolkata has 4 teams - 3 for Stat and 1 for Internal Audit. Out of the three one particular team in which i was allotted had extremely Toxic, Aggressive & Disrespectful managers including a female manager who's mood swings & ego is out of this world. Working under that team felt like Hell/jail/any other horrible place with horrible people. The only good people are the other articles. Do Not Join Lodha & Co. Kolkata. Run for your life and complete your articleship with peace. It's the most depressing place to exist in this world.

No Orientation, No training, No Focus towards employee Development. Allotting Assignments without any background about client and no background of the work that needs to be done. Execution of work is at least priority and undue pressure of completion of work is the only priority. This review is shared with regards to Mumbai Office.
