The salary comes on time. This is the only thing good.

Dislikes

This is not a corporate organization, it's proprietary organization. There is no work culture, just people acting to work and the main aim of the employees is to satisfy the ego of management. There is no learning, no work culture, no work life balance. Just work and rework. If one manager say to work on something the other one makes it to rework, then the final approver makes you rework again.

Likes

Lexplosion provides a good salary package for Freshers and that will be able to sustain you in Kolkata.

Dislikes

The work culture in Lexplosion Solutions is more than Toxic. It is like a school where everybody just monitors everyone's footsteps. Even for a basic tea break or lunch break the management had asked not to spend more than 15 minutes. They will make you work 24X7 without any appreciation or any words of encouragement but will do a huge ruckus over a mistake. And mistakes also happen because employees are overburdened with so many things at the same time. Managers are nothing but puppets in the hands of Senior Management. The moment you tell them about too much work getting alloted, they will act as if this is ones own incapability of completing work within the timeline. Nobody really cares about the work and quality in Lexplosion and everybody is just surviving because they are too content to find anything else.

Apart from the fact that one can find and learn variety of work that has to do with Legal Compliance (Legal Research, understanding applicable laws for various business sectors, stakeholder management etc.), there is no other possible Pro of working here.

Dislikes

1. Unless one resorts to brown-nosing, there are very slim chances to succeed. This will make sure that you do not see big bucks in your salary account. 2. The work culture is one of the most toxic one. Jealousy, unprofessionalism just flows through the grapevine. 3. The company pays peanuts for amount of work that they expect the employees to do. The amount of work, time, sweat, blood one puts in, is not worth it. 4. There is Z-E-R-O work-life balance here. You are supposed to work between 9am to 7pm. But the buck passes on to the hours of your day you don't owe to work. 5. The salary is a joke. They will find ways to deduct money from your yearly bonus payout for trivial reasons that have no impact on your productivity in their truest sense. 6. Speaking about the starting salary, lets just say that if one needs to relocate to Kolkata as a fresher with no family owned property in the vicinity, they are doomed. The salary will not cover the rent, fooding, transportation and other expenses that one may incur. 7. The manager does nothing to look into the high rate of attrition in the company. They will hire new employees, but never will try to get to the root of the problem (which is the managers that they have working for them for over a decade). It is the outlook and the attitude of the managers that needs to be changed.

The company has supported us immensely during the lockdown. Gave us the unique liberty to work from home and constantly followed up on our progress.

Grave mistake, it’s a one-man showmanship (bragging a top tier law school badge), family and friends driven entity and a so called “compliance” related IT applications created by some good IT professionals but quite useless in the industry. Guys, we all need to study about legal compliances in a dynamic world like today, no software can help. People are made to perform researches here to be fed into those irritating IT tools which require manual inputs again, no automation developed - so forgive me, not a place for any lawyer who really loves the law and wants a serious career.
