Lenskart is a nightmare for optometrists! They make you clean the store, push you to sell like a salesperson, and torture you over eye test and sales targets. There’s ZERO respect for optoms you’re just another tool for their profits. Short on staff? Too bad, you’ll be sent to random stores anytime. They hire optometrists who don’t even know how to do an eye test, just to fill vacancies. They will make you work for more than 10 hrs without extra pay.They will force you to do more than 10 hours shift just to clean the store.The "happy employees" you see online? FAKE. No one stays for long because the work environment is toxic. If you have self-respect, DO NOT join Lenskart!

Worst company to work, company tell one salary structure but give another salary. This is the company which is the master of staff deduction, anything held company deduct the money of staff.

They dont care about their employees they just care about the sale. In this condition of lockdown they should support their employees but no what they do is ask the Optometrist and sales staff to do telecalling which the employees are not trained offically we are hired for offline store but what we are asked to do is do 50 connected calls and sell the specs and sunglasses as no one is interested in this lockdown to purchase eyeglass or sunglass but the pressurized their staff to do calling and give them sale and if employees dont achive online sale the wont pay them and ask them to use their leaves. Second they do Salary deduction without any intimation we employees reach to HR zonal manager city manager what they answer is they were not aware of this like why the company is paying you HR is to help employees issue but our HR is one of the biggest issue she say dekho guys i really dont know yeh q hua kise hua give me sometime i will resolve but week and weeks goes their is no updates as we work so hard we have the authority to know on what basis they have done this deduction but no one has the answer

Higher management, You will be hired as a Store manager but you will be responsible just specifically for sales. Same lame questions will be asked " why no sales". Just focusing on hard sales and maintaining their bullsh*t KPI of ET, Conversion, Eyewear. You will learn no new skill except just selling glasses. Daily meetings on call and weekly call by your AOM, same lame feedback of no growth. The product they sell are just scam and sub standard and getting hefty margins. No Housekeeper or a single housekeeper to maintain your entire store. You will be given designation of SM but you will be leading a team of Sales and opto. Shortage of Opto in their whole organisation. If you can give daily excuse why you cant achieve their target daily, you can surely join. All AOM in north have a negative feedback about their work culture.
