New Job, Higher Pay, Now I’m Feeling Awkward

I’ve been at my new job for about six months now, and everything’s been going great! I’m getting positive feedback from my manager, and I get along well with the team. The thing is, when I started, my salary offer ended up being much higher than the initial number discussed during my interview. I didn’t negotiate and just accepted the offer. So, fast forward to happy hour with the team, and the topic of salary comes up. I, unfortunately, shared what I’m making, and let’s just say... it didn’t sit well with the others who have been on the team for years and make less than me. They weren’t mad at me, but now I’m feeling a bit uncomfortable and unsure how to handle this situation. Has anyone had something like this happen? How did you deal with it? Let’s chat!

Its horrible place to work.

Dislikes

horrible place to work..they hire donkeys who want to work on less salary without any complaints....increment like 500-700 range only...which counting zero at my view of point ...bad managament....no growth ...employees working from 10 years and salary become less than 20000.....they try to put burden on employee... For extra work in less pay....pls don't go .....I thought m wasting time and my knowledge ....no growth...nothing ....

Except for Sat- Sun off there was literally nothing to like in this organisation.

Dislikes

It is a terrible organisation. I would strongly advice freshers against joining this firm. Its a toxic workplace full of gossips and stupid internal politics. Regressive workplace with extreme restrictions. Seniors are creepy. Thank god they didnt install CCtv in washrooms. I would give this place -5 ratings if that's possible.
