Working in law firm can provide competitive salaries, opportunities for advancement, prestige and exposure to high profile cases. Employees also have the opportunity to work with( and learn from ) highly experienced professionals.

Dislikes

The merit bonus system… we don’t have any qualitative understanding of it and I have no idea how they came up with the particular numbers I received…talking to friends at other firms, they tend to have more sponsored lunches and other events for associates. Our firm is more of a penny-pincher in that respect.

...ou join. Better to work as a plumber rather than working as a lawyer over there. The pay scale is like beggers. Nothing ypu are going to like in that firm. Be jobless rather than working at this firm.

My personal suggestion is to take a body lotion with you, if you are going to join this firm because the whole day you will keep on cleaning your hands rather then focusing on work. You can't touch the files even otherwise she will make you wipe the whole file page by page with a so called semi wet cloths and that's a total psychopath thing. They can make you do anything, book urban clap make the door work well and all the household work. You can learn household core more than the court work. Even a clerk don't stay at this office. She can ask you to take the whole bag full of file and rusk like a clerk in the court. There is no work hour neither she will ever give you leave a bit early for medical emergency. I was staying far from that office but most of the days i use to reach home by 11 pm and then again leave home by 7 to reach office by 9. Even if you leave on good note she won't give you any experience letter rather if you join somewhere else she will try her best to ruin your future at that place.

I have drafted injunction case, NI cases, Legal Notice, Complaint and deed after I have experience in GST filing , income tax and Court appearance and argument. I like legal matter work in law firm

You can gain lot of knowledge and work culture is very good and expose your knowledge and if you have passion to learn then definitely it would be great platform to expose and experience your skills and knowledge and gain experience

About Management behaviour. after working with this firm around 4 years, one day suddenly management decided to expelled me. that was surprised me.
