...end more years in company. Appraisal process is most cumbersome and mischievous. Same employees working unde same boss mostly get good ratings and salary increments. The biggest problem in company is getting work done from related SBU i.e project lead will assign engineering work to related Larsen toubro company and construction work to related lnt company. Each and every related company has different goals to maximize profits which inherently delays projects timeline and exclates Project cost. People get increments after 3 years and combined rating of 3 years is taken to promote or give salary increments. HR proposely decreases ratings in last year of appraisal to provide less benefits to employee even if your boss has rated good you. Employees overall package has one component as Retention pay which is payed at completion of one year. I would prefer people to join other organization where long term perspective is good to keep you going.

Culture is very bad. Managers use offensive language to get things done.

You will be challenged everyday as an engineer with the complexity of projects. Your patience level be developed multi folded.

Dislikes

...ving the organisation because of bad managers and not because of low salaries. Ultimately there are no steps against the bad managers and low salary structure. Result is there is an exodus of experienced employees!!

Work life balance at times is poor , work culture is not that great since majorly it depends on the expectation from your boss , company policies are now improving but continual improvement is required , Even work from home could have been a bit longer during first and second COVID 19 which was not welcoming

Fixed Salary is not lucrative, appraisal system is impartial and does not reflect the true potential of the deserving candidate , Zero scope for Innovation , Politics among the department , one can learn a lot but it will not be proportional to your growth since senior always aspire end result

Work culture is good, more interaction between management and junior cadre employees will be add-on

Salary structure is low as per industry standards. Work -family need to balance for more satisfaction for motivation is required.

Great place to learn. Provide opportunities for decision making with out having the fear of being wrong. Also provides opportunities for course correction in case of mistakes. Teaches you to be responsible for your decision and helps self improvement by providing excellent training.

Dislikes

Slow career growth and miniscule salary hike. But provides other non monetary benefits on the flip side.
