Landesa is one of the best international NGO. The work culture was so good that most people once joining Landesa doesn't want to leave even when they get higher salary in other organisation. I had to leave since Landesa has to stop their projects because of the FCRA issues. Landesa was a very good organization and really thought about the betterment of the people or the beneficiaries who they were working for. I hope this FCRA rift will solve and Landesa will start working in INDIA and west bengal again and I want be a part of it again. I miss my days in Landesa and the people of this organisation. It's been two years i have left this organisation but the memories of the work in that organisation is still so fresh.

Dislikes

There was not many things to dislike about Landesa since they mostly worked for the benefit of people and thought a lot about the people working for this company. I hope Landesa will come back in India again.

Likes

The organization work on secured land tenure to the worlds poorest with focus on woman and her rights. Its a fast growing organization managed by some truly professional people. Got immense opportunity to learn and is a good place to work.

Dislikes

Since its a growing organization and also very few organization in India works on the issue of land rights, opportunities of external trainings, exposures are bit less.

Work-life balance is the best thing, also, Landesa's goal/focus/stance is quite clear and it helps in planning.

Dislikes

Career growth, learning opportunities, salary/appraisal etc. are very poor, and the worst part it due to heirchail structure one can't even discuss this with anybody in the organisation

My colleagues at the Delhi office were very good. Work overall was very light. No stress arising out of that.

The way the US office treated the Indian staff. The COO at the US office was particularly obnoxious
