I traveled from Bangalore to Surat for the final round of an interview, received an offer letter, and joined the company. Initially, I was assigned a task and completed it successfully. However, for the second task, I faced issues cloning the repository, and the person responsible for assigning tasks went on a 4-day holiday. During this time, I took the initiative to learn and figure things out on my own. When they returned, they asked me to prepare a report, which I completed and submitted. In the report, I mentioned that I had to learn things independently due to the lack of guidance. Their response was dismissive: "Who told you to learn those things?" Shockingly, just 15 days after joining, I was informed of my termination. I later discovered that I wasn't the first to experience such treatment. Key issues: Hire-and-fire policy: Employees are terminated without valid reasons. Constantly changing policies: The company frequently introduces new rules without notice. Overburdening systems: Employees are required to manage multiple tools like Chanty, Trackabi, and PMS just to clock in and out. Toxic management: Project managers treat employees disrespectfully and create a hostile work environment.
