Dislikes

There are no fun activities. No proper work culture or organisation structure. There are not much to learn. Unless intrested in the shipbuilding industry, this work isn't satisfactory.

Kind your information From September 2016 there is no L&T Port. Now it's called Adani port. I was there from 2012 to 2016 September

Bad management unprofessional HR & marketing team unprofessional administration that is the reason company lost more than 1000 cr in that project so I don't like the particular port department

There is no employee welfare. Only tokenism. HR does only payroll and taking care of lay offs. Most of the decisions are taken by the technical heads and informed to HR for implementation. I was continuously harassed for having initials instead of surname by someone from the defence design leadership. As I reported to him, I have to explain time and again why surnames are not used by most people in TN however he was particularly targeting me to know my caste. Had a very traumatic experience every time I went to his cabin. It was highly insensitive and discriminatory. I was scared to report due to the closed nature or HR and the hierarchy as most of the leadership was ex-Navy and the company never took any action against them. The HR needs an overhaul and implement anti discriminatory police's against caste, gender, language based discrimination if they intend to improve diversity.

Work life balance is zero,No team work,career growth is good, so many politics of Tamil & Bangali in this company

In whole year you will do the work,but in appraisal time senior people will see the face & who will do the oiling in whole year,based on that will give the appraisal
