Freedom to work and encourage new ideas implementation. Not hindered by anyone if ideas are good to implement. I love to solve the problems, many times i travel to field to collect data and analyse and numerous solutions have been provided. Great place to work

...therings, no SOPS, very rigid atmosphere. All are work oriented. 6 days working. Workmen get salary hike periodically whereas staff gets hike only during change in the cadre. Annual increments are very negligible

The kind of responsibility that is provided to each individuals is great. Empowerment in Decision making is excellent. Easy to access top level management.

...ch PL to be applied for a min of 3 days and hence no single day PL can be taken. Growth is good but compensation is very poor.

You will learn a lot in this company. But salary is not too high for the less experience or DET or GET. Standards are quite high in this company when it comes to requirment. You can give a try

Compensation and benefit is terrible. Carrier growth and opportunity is also very slow. Appraisal policy is very much unprofessional. Management do not value an individuals' unique strengths. If somebody is in a slow track, he will hardly get chance to come back to the fast track and it is completely based on the boss's mood not based on the individuals' performance. Allowances are not at per the market situation. Hardly get any chance to foreign travelling.

L&T has a strong value system of in service lies success. And I happen to have the same value system. We both share key values like transparency, honesty, ethical working and loyalty. L&T provides an open platform to implement the ideas and also provides required tools. And we have the best of products in our basket. L&T's Openness to innovate and to execute ideas is a strong point in this ever changing eco system. Flexible timings helps in managing tasks in hands. Great Job security , strong caring working culture.

Compensation Growth is slower than the inflation. Which means there is a de-growth. This is really demoralizing factor. There is no or minimal discussion over the learning path and career growth. The marketing is very poor and we should have a separate department. No clear understanding of employee benefits are there in system and no communication happens on the same.
