New Job, Higher Pay, Now I’m Feeling Awkward

I’ve been at my new job for about six months now, and everything’s been going great! I’m getting positive feedback from my manager, and I get along well with the team. The thing is, when I started, my salary offer ended up being much higher than the initial number discussed during my interview. I didn’t negotiate and just accepted the offer. So, fast forward to happy hour with the team, and the topic of salary comes up. HR Head Susmita, is one of the main reason, employees leave kotak 811, specially from HR team, Very ruthless. She just wants to gossip and portray how hard she is working when is not, she has a Tail Garima, who just bring all the gossips from office. I dont know how someone can be so cruel and so toxic. Company and other heads are good, but if you are planning to join HR team of Kotak 811, think twice before joining. I really hope this reaches the heads, especially Shanti Ekambaram ma'am, so the dream of many HR folks who wish to work banks like KOTAK is not spoiled. I think a good lesson must be taught to such managers.
