...ce should come if you have good legal knowledge, but here that was not the case. One would expect Kochhar to pay well since it’s one of the reputed firms, but you’ll be surprised how much little they are willing to pay, for the tons of work they actually make you do.

Work-Life balance, that's all. But that also depends on the team you're in.

Dislikes

Below par salary structure. the firms pretends to be a top-tier firm but in some cases pays less than independent lawyers. Also, has a culture of sycophancy. If the "Leadership" does not like you, your career will not go anywhere. Zero transparency in promotions and appraisals. The fact that a lot of partners and senior partners have left in the last few years is symbolic of the endemic problems with the work culture.

Have worked for almost 7 years in Kochhar and Co. And had a vast experience of handling man power and managing work efficiently with team work spirit.

Dislikes

Learning experience , nothing to dislike in such a wonderful organization
