As a process Engineer you think you'll be working on technical things, except you have to work on estimation and proposal activities. You have to take care of mechanical things such as Nuts and Bolts, Beams, etc. You also have to continuously follow-up with procurement department for prices of raw materials which is actually sales department's responsibility. Technical exposure is nothing as one would expect. Good company for fresher to learn about column internals but not so good for experienced professionals.

Culture here is really appreciative. Managers are very cooperative.

Compensation not up to the industry scale. Very conservative management. Won't give opportunities to learn or work in sister companies.

Koch Glitsch Division of Koch Engineered solutions India Pvt ltd. Here Peocess engineer is equivalent to Peoposal or Application Engineers It's Very reputed, good culture comapany. Fallowing 99+% compliance in its work. Its good opportunity to lern columns internals in detailed but in mechanical prospective more. Great, supporting staff But limited learning. Still its MNC, you wont geting opportunity to go abroad till you have completing more than 6-8 year of experience.

In KG, average compensation and salary structure compair to its own sister division like John Zink. Low increment compair to other MNC. Limited learning experience. Also , very limited training and access. They are only focused to design internals not deasign package. Simulation software only handled by Manager. Here Process Engineer is Process cum Sales Engineers. i. e. Work as Application Engineer.

The company is open to innovation and readily adopts latest technology. I love the fact that I am a part of a team.

Compensation is decent but growth is slow the work pressure is very high sometimes I have to work 9-12 hours.
