New Job, Higher Pay, Now I’m Feeling Awkward

I’ve been at my new job for about six months now, and everything’s been going great! I’m getting positive feedback from my manager, and I get along well with the team. The thing is, when I started, my salary offer ended up being much higher than the initial number discussed during my interview. I didn’t negotiate and just accepted the offer. So, fast forward to happy hour with the team, and the topic of salary comes up. I, unfortunately, shared what I’m making, and let’s just say... it didn’t sit well with the others who have been on the team for years and make less than me. I enjoy interacting with people and providing good customer service. I love the fast and dynamic environment of a supermarket because there is always something to do and new challenges to face. opportunities to learn new skills such as a handling cash, stocking shelves and using inventory management system are available. I appreciate the sense of teamwork and cooperation that comes with working in a supermarket, as everyone works together to ensure a good experience

there were times we were understaffed and had to deal with long-line customers, which could be overwhelming. however I learned a lot from this experience, including how to work efficiently under pressure and how to manage my time effectively. I'm confident that I can apply these skills in future roles and continue to grow as a professional
