Nothing to like about. Even the pay is low compared to other MBB.

...ate you, make you think you are worthy of nothing and you will struggle further. They do not pay well and since they are struggling there aren’t any raises every year even with promotions.

1. Compensation 2. Exposure to multiple industries

Dislikes

1. Firm claims to be people’s companies but it’s filled with rude, transactional, and unapologetic people. 2. Leadership is weak as per industry standards and unfortunately the repercussions are always faced by young consultants. 3. Forums and town halls are in-place to keep WLB in check and improve the culture but things are mostly on paper. Partners behave in absolute obnoxious manner and feel they have the luxury to treat consultants like that. 4. HR have no voice in the company and have not helped a single consultant in their struggle against the leadership.

- Decent portfolio of projects - they are trying to expand in financial services aggressively and also bringing in more strategy work. - Since it is smaller than MBB, one tends to work with same or similar set of people often which helps to develop closer connection - however, this aspect is slowly eroding away. - Overall, your experience will depend a lot on the practice areas that you work in. There are some areas/ partners with toxic working styles and hours, some with strong internal network building (useful for promotion and growth) etc.

Dislikes

- Lack of standardization across practices - Slightly lower base pay than MBB - Significantly lower bonus payout than MBB (% bonus is lower at junior levels, which is one of the worst policies ever! Every other consulting firm has a fixed % which they apply on different base pay, which automatically means lower bonus for junior levels, rather than a doubly whammy of low fixed and low bonus%) - No international trainings till you reach EM level - MBBs over international trainings to pre-MBA consultants too
