The students of the university make working here worthwhile.

Dislikes

...leaving and the university has no retention. There is also no work life balance. These people want their staff to work 24x7 but will not pay a decent salary. A BTech / MBA graduate from their own University is paid as little as Rs. 7000/- per month. The biggest crook in the university is the marketing head. Big politics and lies to all admissions. I have heard there are under the table dealings also for admissions.

Marketing and admin dept are waste. No guidance, growth career planning and vision. isfak avijit these ppl are termites. Joining here is wasting of golden time of life

Dislikes

Full of partiality Salary not on time (mostly after 15th) No proper leadership and guidance Increment based on how much successful you are in tattling and gossiping

1.Super Supportive Mentors 2.Excellent Management 3.Awesome Team Culture 4.And most importantly during Covid when there was paycuts in all organisations PAN India not a single penny was deducted from any employee by the management of Assam Kaziranga University.And for this will remain forever grateful.

I have been trying my level best to find an answer to this since last 5 years 6 months still figuring………..

Academic works are satisfactory and faculty members are supportive.

Dislikes

Administrative processes are very discouraging and not supportive, no autonomy and unnecessary procedural practices. No respect for academic professionals.

Likes

Though the university try to cater north east students to shine academically, the students are not attentive enough and they are not serious about their career (except a few). Faculties and support staff are good. The new Hr manager is an absolute gem and brought enormous positivity since he arrived here. senior management takes care of employee work life balance but many facilities are lacking here

Dislikes

In campus facilities should be increased. Facilities for faculty and staff is very less (no pf, gratuity, medical insurance etc). some old staff are holding back the university to grow due to their poor mindset and show their attitude with new people, though their skillet is very poor
