New Job, Higher Pay, Now I’m Feeling Awkward

I’ve been at my new job for about six months now, and everything’s been going great! I’m getting positive feedback from my manager, and I get along well with the team. The thing is, when I started, my salary offer ended up being much higher than the initial number discussed during my interview. I didn’t negotiate and just accepted the offer. So, fast forward to happy hour with the team, and the topic of salary comes up. I, unfortunately, shared what I’m making, and let’s just say... it didn’t sit well with the others who have been on the team for years and make less than me. They weren’t mad at me, but now I’m feeling a bit uncomfortable and unsure how to handle this situation. Has anyone had something like this happen? How did you deal with it? Let’s chat!

...d leave office at their convenient. No culture, No employe work tracking system. Salary comes late , PF amount is pending from last 1 year, 2 years FNF amount is pending. Worst company in basis pf skill development personal growth etc (I am HR guy so i know everything) please ignore this company.

Totally pathetic company to work for, no work culture is there. Incompetent manager are running company and nobody is there to support employees

Dislikes

Salary is never on time, people get there salary as late as 20th of month. Managers scold employees on asking for salary. Hr department is not even updates leave for employees but they will print your termination letter in minutes. Reimbursement policy is so complex that you need BU Head approval even for 100 rs claim.

Honestly, I only like the organization when it was HCL infosystem since the time they have transitioned into Karvy it turns out to to pathetic. But still I am grateful as I have worked over there.

Dislikes

...work culture. Not an employee centric organization but moreover CEO centric one. You will not get your bonus even if you complete one year without any reason.

... they just make big big promise but when you join you see the real face of them. When i have resgin they didn't pay may 2 month sealry even i have completed my 45 days notice period even they are not sharing my relevig letter and experience letter i suggest not to join this company ever H.R head alok Ranjan HR shneal i called them.1000 times but they didn't pick my call i have never seen like this type.of worest company in my life all management people are fake and didn't have 0 skill even they dont know how to handle project just licking by senior they get promoted.
