New Job, Higher Pay, Now I’m Feeling Awkward
I’ve been at my new job for about six months now, and everything’s been going great! I’m getting positive feedback from my manager, and I get along well with the team. The thing is, when I started, my salary offer ended up being much higher than the initial number discussed during my interview. I didn’t negotiate and just accepted the offer. So, fast forward to happy hour with the team, and the topic of salary comes up. I, unfortunately, shared what I’m making, and let’s just say... it didn’t sit well with the others who have been on the team for years and make less than me. They weren’t mad at me, but now I’m feeling a bit uncomfortable and unsure how to handle this situation. Has anyone had something like this happen? How did you deal with it? Let’s chat!

I enjoyed my tenure in this company and had good learning experience, the work culture is too good and friendly, all staff and management are cooperative and understanding. I had to move on as I was planning to settle back in my home town in Nagpur. Best part was that my F &F settlement after leaving was done with in 45 days without any follow up.

I left Kangaroo in Feb 2020, and my releaving date was 5th Feb 2020. When I asked my F&F they said that they will release after 60 day from releaving date. When i asked again in the month of April they started saying that they don't have fund to clear my F & F. Till today I have not received any update that when they are going to release my F & F. As per my information they are very well working and doing their business. Also make a note that its not only me there are 4-5 other people's also there who are chasing them for F & F but no one is getting their F & F. Means it's their regular practice of holding employees fund when they leave the company. I would suggest no one to join such company.
