New Job, Higher Pay, Now I’m Feeling Awkward

I’ve been at my new job for about six months now, and everything’s been going great! I’m getting positive feedback from my manager, and I get along well with the team. The thing is, when I started, my salary offer ended up being much higher than the initial number discussed during my interview. I didn’t negotiate and just accepted the offer. So, fast forward to happy hour with the team, and the topic of salary comes up. I, unfortunately, shared what I’m making, and let’s just say... it didn’t sit well with the others who have been on the team for years and make less than me. They weren’t mad at me, but now I’m feeling a bit uncomfortable and unsure how to handle this situation. Has anyone had something like this happen? How did you deal with it? Let’s chat!

...gement is transparent. There is a huge cafeteria and gaming arcade for chilling. Company policies are good, appraisals are fair and they give good salary hike and bonus every year.

There is a lot of politics and the management doesn’t address our issues. Salary is decent but career growth is slow. There is a bond of 2 years before which you cannot resign. On the job training is not given to new joinees

Nothing, Worst experience of my life. Manager thinks himself to be the owner of the whole company and will shout at you for every small mistake but he doesn't stops there he will shout at you with all kinds of slang words and even back bit about you to your own colleagues. I strongly advise that please stay home and stay safe. Monday to Saturday something even Sunday there is no proper timing most of the time you will be working over time due to manager pressure

It was a great experience with justa hotel s & resorts. The working atmosphere was good and my team members always motivated me to go extra mile. Personally i recommend this hotel for freshers because they can learn several things and staff is always ready for your help.
