...ys support and encourage you. Great opportunity to learn new things and explore. Salary is quite well. Lots of activities other than work to make you feel better and keep your workload down. My team was very cooperative and everyone in my department help me get most out of my internship.

This was my first experience in private company and honestly I found nothing which I dislike about company.

Talking as a C++/ QT resource 1: To create visibility, you need to do a lot more than just your regular work. Like Contributing in different initiatives, Participating in Hackathons like events 2: Only 1 or 2 QT resource in a team compared to 10 controller side resources. Hence, QT resource is most of the time overloaded with work. 3: Some internal politics related to work assignment

...earn new things. Work life balance is somewhat good compared to other companies. Yearly bonus is good.

Dislikes

It was good before but recent org level changes and layoffs changed everything. Most of the people who were working for Deere for last 15-20 years were being sacked. A employee centric company turned it's culture towards money centric.

Likes

Excellent work life balance. Huge opportunities for learning and grow technically. Incentives are not on employee performance, that's on company performance and disbursals are always high.

Dislikes

Salary structure is too complicated. Peer comparison happens with manufacturing companies. Company is not a pay master, always a median payer. Onsite opportunities are negligible.
