I was laid off during the 1st wave of pandemic and i had joined a year ago. So i do feel that the job security is an issue. Company policies are good, supportive and work life balance was good. But since i could only work for a year, i can't say i have a lot to share.

I still feel that rather than laying employees off they could've given them sabbatical and called them back later.

I’ve been at my new job for about six months now, and everything’s been going great! I’m getting positive feedback from my manager, and I get along well with the team. The thing is, when I started, my salary offer ended up being much higher than the initial number discussed during my interview. I didn’t negotiate and just accepted the offer. I, unfortunately, shared what I’m making, and let’s just say... it didn’t sit well with the others who have been on the team for years and make less than me.
