In my 6 months of working experience, I've come to realise that the skill set I learned in my PG were thoroughly utilised and polished in this job. Due to the nature of my post as a Research Analyst (RA) and the acadmic space I worked in, I can fairly say that the work environment is hospitable for research and personal growth. Also, the working hours were flexible and easy to adjust in the daily life. P.S. My experience entails all of this from Post-COVID era.

...ing to any individual who may look to forward their career in this line of work. But due to lower wages and lower than average alloted salary cap, the post of RA might not be conceived as a desirable destination for any young researcher who want to earn decent money and sustain themselves in a city like Delhi. In addition to that, the monthly salary for the first 2 months were credited in my account in my 3rd month of joining. So no regularity of salary at proper timing was followed, at least when I was working. In short; improper allotment of financial resources and temperamental faculty members would boss around and won't review the work at hand due to behavioural issues. P.S. All the stated above facts are attested by me on a first-hand basis. I can say this because I studied from the same University and also got the chance to work there, so I have a "behind-the-scenes" knowledge of how the administration works. It also deeply saddens me to say such negative things about JNU, but facts are facts and they should be out in public knowledge so the errors of past might not ruin someone's future.

The University is open to innovation and great working environment. We have lot of industry institute contacts through our university. Good motivation and encouraging environment by the professors. Timings also very flexible, no lot of tensions and pressures.
