Poor growth and compensation. Top management centralises everything and managers have little control. Intense office politics and is one of the primary means to grow and not just one of the factors.

Likes

The people at Janes are mostly genuine, helpful, and considerate to each other. Their HR policies are employee-centric, and they are honest and straightforward in their financial dealings such as salary and other benefits. The senior managers are friendly, approachable, and accessible. They treat employees with courtesy and respect. The pay is also quite good.

Dislikes

Janes as a whole was good to me. The company showed faith in me and treated me well. I have happy memories of my tenure there, and I formed many friendships. So I would rather stress the positives than the negatives.

everything, the office politics make you realise that everyone is a leech in the company without shame. they have no respect for women, idk how they are getting the tags for great place to work. it's so fishy.

The company is run by bunch of incompetent individuals at top level. The management is a joke. A submariner who knows nothing about aircraft is leading aircraft division. His boss enjoys flattery and promotes only incompetent people. Another blunder they made was appointing a manager with zero technical knowledge of C4ISR domain. The domain demands exceptional technical knowledge and unfortunately the head does not get the gist of the domain.C4ISR contributes to maximum number of views and revenue in the category. With SMEs gone now, a bunch of geo political guys are running the domain. The company will be sold of this year and expected to go for major rejig. So please stay away from this uncertainty and look else where. Military veterans who have anchored the quality content for so long have now gone and the content is now being maintained or created by geo political graduates without no military experience. This is suicidal and the ACV will slowly begin to sink. In summary, the company resembles a circus led by bunch of jokers. Military Veterans please stay away.

Top management is pathetic. There are no values in the organization. Management is least bothered about genuine employees and doesn't respect their feedback. Intact, they get targeted if you speak on management issues. All they like are bucket holders. Stop displaying the values slides at stsrt of each presentation, it's a farce. Wrong doers are enjoying whereas they should have been fired bad it been a ethical company. HR India is hand in gloves with such individuals.
