The expectations of management does not match with the compensation they offer and work life balance is very poor. Only people burning the night oil gets recognition.

If you don't want your personal life then join. Those Who loves to work for 24/7 in the development then join.

Dislikes

You need to work for 24 hours in the development and don't think it's a product based they have service based projects as well. If you are in those project your growth will stops there and there is no proper hierarchy.

1. They are neither employee first company nor customer first company. 2. Toxic management 3. Micromanagement at it's peak 4. Unsupportive senior devs 5. Culture is declining and upper management is trying to hide it 6. Existing employees are not valued at all 7. Few unnecessary position at upper management who literally made the culture toxic 8. Forcing employees to work from office even it's hybrid model 9. Terrible Work life balance

- On missing a deadline even in case of emergency, you are humiliated in front of entire team. - If your manager does not like someone from other team, they will resist you to go to them and ask for help. - Managers from different domains handles team, without having any context of the technology and expects everything to be done as per their timeline, without consulting from the team. - Unrealistic deadlines given by managers and upper management without consulting developers. - Toxic managers, they will try to sabotage your work if you are performing well. - If something wrong happens you will listen “Aaj ke baad yeh hua toh sidha naukri jayegi” in front of everyone. - Upper management does favouritism.

People are good. Good learning for a year or two after that things become repetitive. Each year you will go to GOA. Good appraisals. Free lunch. AI code are promoted.

Dislikes

no work-life balance. you have to be available 24*7. in recent times there has been a sharp decline in culture. there are some unnecessary positions in tech upper management only for abusing powers. Devs are responsible for any failures and for credit upper management is there. not safe for females (few harassment cases have been seen). there is heavy politics, favoritism is at its peak. either you become a fav of someone at the top or ready to get fire. no job security, and each quarter 4-5 people got fired.
